For those who have to get up early for work, an invigorating coffee-banana smoothie is perfect. It is high in calories, can replace a light breakfast. It is prepared in just a few minutes.
If you a coffee lover like me, you will love it. Scientists are still arguing about whether coffee is good or bad. Perhaps it is difficult to find another product that would cause so many discussions and disagreements. One cup of this aromatic strong drink makes a person more energetic for the whole day.
So today I want to share with you one of my favorite recipes – making a banana smoothie with mocha. It turns out very tasty, delicate and fragrant, just what you need in the early morning. Since I used ripe and sweet bananas, I did not add any additional sweeteners.
- 150 ml. natural yogurt
- 200 ml. black coffee
- 2 bananas
- 4 tsp. cocoa powder
- 4 ice cubes
Brew strong coffee. First of all, we brew black coffee from freshly ground beans. I prefer to cook my favourite drink in the Turk, but you can use a coffee machine or a geyser coffee maker.
Mixing ingredients. Peeled bananas cut into circles and put in a blender. Add natural yoghurt and beat it together with fruit until smooth.
Then add cocoa powder. Pour cooled coffee and mix everything again with a blender. Smoothies should be homogeneous and thick enough.
We will transfer ready cocktail in tall glasses.
